I never wanted to be in the wedding industry. However, I started at Ffolkes doing waitressing and then was able to come down to the wedding side, and that’s what inspired me to go a little bit further with it.
My team is wonderful. I’ve only got to look at them and they know what I’m thinking, they know when I need something, they know when to take over from me. They just know all the ins and outs!
It’s very rewarding. Becoming friends with the couple, to have them trust me with their big day. It’s the most rewarding thing at the end of any planning of a wedding.
It’s the fun Ffolkes. That’s all I can say about it! You come to Ffolkes to have fun, have a laugh, food, drinks, golf, and the added extras in between.
I do martial arts; I’m halfway through to my black belt. We also recently started going camping. We started with the tent box for myself and my partner to go to Scotland. We found the love for it there so started taking our girls, and recently we’ve bought a campervan to start going camping more!
10 years is a very long time. I do hope that I’m still here running the weddings. It’s what I love, it’s what I enjoy most.
