Head Spa Therapist – New FFOLKESPA

We are seeking a Head Therapist to lead our spa team at the new FFOLKESPA. This full-time role offers a £32K-£35K salary plus tips and the opportunity to oversee a team of 20+ therapists, supported by an Assistant Head Therapist and reporting to the Guest Experience Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and oversee high-quality spa treatments.
  • Lead and support a large team of therapists.
  • Ensure a professional, tailored experience for every client.
  • Confidently engage with customers about treatments and products.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Massage Qualification or higher with 3+ years of spa experience.
  • Experience in team management within a spa setting.
  • Passion for excellence in spa treatments.
  • TEMPLESPA product knowledge is a plus, but full training is provided.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain relevant massage therapy insurance.

About you:

  • As head therapist you are responsible for the running of the treatment block and therapist team at FFOLKESPA.
  • Commercially savvy, you coordinate an efficient operation. Reactive to change, you can flex your team for the best financial results. You report your spending and income with detail each week and set targets for the coming quarters.
  • Work alongside an established and knowledgeable senior management team from PIGSPA. You will receive support and training from our existing team to execute your role.

  • Ffolkes is a 300-year-old coaching inn, refurbished in 2022 to create a fun and vibrant hotel and restaurant.
  • 140 covers inside with a feature bar and lounge. Approx. the same covers in our enclosed garden area.

  • Stables events space is separate to the main building, with its own kitchen, and accommodates weddings, celebrations and corporate events.
